The fertigation sprinkler with EMJET equipment has been developed for the application of EMs (Effective Microorganisms), for which there is a deadly high pressure prevailing in irrigation installations, especially supplying reel springs. EMJET is also intended for fertigation, ie introducing (dosing) a solution of mineral fertilizers during sprinkling. It is used for working with reel spools, in agricultural, vegetable or horticultural field crops. Thanks to the simple construction and the absence of any mechanisms and work without the need for energy, this system is preferred for working in a candid field.


Construction and principle of operation

The EMJET dosing sprinkler is a serial gun designed for a medium sized reel-to-reel that is fitted with a tube that feeds the sucked solution into the outlet of the nozzle. The system consists of two PVC tanks with a total capacity of 160 l with a frame made of acid resistant steel used to hang them on the trolley of a sprinkler. A filter and a regulating valve are installed on the connecting pipe between the tanks and the parcel.

Before developing the reel-hose, preferably in a separate tank, dissolve the granulated mineral fertilizer to the correct, calculated concentration. Pour the resulting solution through a sieve into PVC containers suspended on the sprinkler trolley. Develop the sprinkler hose and start watering. A jet of water flowing out of the nozzle at high velocity creates a negative pressure in the tube, sucking the solution out of the tanks. The tube solution is entrained by a stream of water in which it disperses and drops evenly over the entire surface of the irrigated cultivation belt.

 The fertilizer dose is adjusted by changing the concentration of the dosing solution and by changing the parameters of the sprinkler.
